Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited (Decorative Division) Asia’s leading paint manufacturer in collaboration with InkLink Charitable Trust conducted a Splatsoccer art event in Chennai at Chettinad Rajah Muthiah School, which had star players from Chennaiyin FC Football club in participation. During the event, Nippon Paint and InkLink Charitable Trust launched a unique arts-based LeadArt learning program that will be conducted across 100 schools in Tamil Nadu. The objective of the program is to encourage creativity, promote talent and inculcate leadership skills through art and colors.
Star players including Eli Sabia, Andrea Orlandi, Francisco Fernandes and Mohammed Rafi joined hands with the students to play football, and create beautiful artwork together using Nippon Paint.

Nippon Paint partners with InkLink Trust to impart arts-based ‘LeadArt’ learning program in more than 100 government schools in Tamil Nadu
Chennai, December 10th 2018: Nippon Paint (India), Asia’s leading paint manufacturer, in collaboration with InkLink Charitable Trust conducted a Splatsoccer art event in Chennai at Chettinad Rajah Muthiah School, which had star players from Chennaiyin FC Football club in participation. During the event, Nippon Paint and InkLink Charitable Trust launched a unique arts-based LeadArt learning program that will be conducted across 100 schools in Tamil Nadu. The objective of the program is to encourage creativity, promote talent and inculcate leadership skills through art and colors. Star players including Eli Sabia, Andrea Orlandi, Francisco Fernandes and Mohammed Rafi joined hands with the students to play football, and create beautiful artwork together using Nippon Paint.
The event was held with an aim to inspire creativity, foster team building and promote art among the school children through three simple steps as Connect. Kick and Create. Connecting children with the players, kicking the footballs and creating a beautiful artwork.
Chennaiyin FC Players were delighted in interacting with the students, as they also involved themselves in a fun game of ‘dribble’, which helped teach students tips on football techniques. The players also engaged the students in a uniquely designed ‘splatsoccer’ creative activity using Nippon Paint that blended sports with art. While this innovative painting event succeeded in creating a student-friendly atmosphere, the splatsoccer activity fostered a sense of team spirit, unity and motivation among the students. The art creations made at the event have been put on permanent display at the school premises.
