MIDAS Architecture College Organizes its 2nd Graduation Day
Chennai, 20th September 2018: MARG Institute of Design and Architecture Swarnabhoomi (MIDAS) organized its second Graduation day on 15th September 2018, Saturday at the Vivekananda Convention Centre, MARG Swarnabhoomi. The graduating batch of 76 students received their convocation certificate from Chief Guest of the evening, Mr. Ar. Sukumar Fenn Rajaratnam, Former Chairman – Indian Institute of Architects (IIA).
The other eminent dignitaries of the event were Ms. Ar. Krithika Subrahmanian, Managing Director and Chief Architect – Transform, Dr. Krishna G.V. Giri, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer – Dhiyah Consulting, Ms. VP Rajini Reddy, Director, Swarnabhoomi Academic Institutions, Prof. Shashank Chakradeo, Principal, MIDAS. The event was presided over by Mr. GRK Reddy, Promoter – Swarnabhoomi Academic Institutions and CMD, MARG Group. Parents of graduating students, management representatives and MIDAS Faculty attended the event.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ar. Sukumar Fenn Rajaratnam, said “Congratulations to the students graduating today. Please remember to never stop upgrading your skills and practice the profession of architecture with sincerity and integrity.”
Adding to this, Mr. GRK Reddy, Promoter – Swarnabhoomi Academic Institutions and CMD, MARG Group, said “This batch of graduating students have benefited immensely from expert guest lectures and hands-on workshops. These students have got many opportunities to develop their leadership and organization skills by being a part of events conducted by MIDAS like National Symposium on Sustainable Smart Cities, NASA 2015 etc. It is important that the students apply the knowledge gained from here in their professional endeavors.”
