‘King’s Day’ of Belgium was celebrated in Chennai
Belgium is very renowned for Chocolates, Diamonds and varied range of glasses. In 1947, Belgium was the first western country to send an ambassador to India, and next year will therefore mark the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relations between the two countries. It can be mentioned that the first Indian Movie that was shot in Belgium was, Amir Khan starrer PK.
In order to honor the King every year , the kings day is celebrated. The Belgian Consulate General in Chennai had hosted a celebration on the occasion of Belgium’s King’s Day. The grand celebration of King’s day was held at Chennai on November 18th – Friday that had the eminent presence of Dr.Bart De Groof and Ms Shemain Thakur – Consul General of Belgium – Chennai, Ms Margot Prie, Ms Kathlijn Fruithof, Ms Swathi Balasubramanian, Mr. Satish – Actor – Choreographer (Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada), Prince of Arcot, Mr. and Mrs. Naresh Mehta – Chairman, Mehta Jewellery, Mr. Seiji Baba -Japan Consul General, Mrs. Suhasini Maniratnam, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Chennai, Mr. Satish – Jupiter and many more higher generals from the country.
பெல்ஜியம் நாட்டின் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற ‘கிங்ஸ் டே’ விழா, சென்னையில் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது
சாக்லேட், வைரம் மற்றும் பல வகை கண்ணாடிகளுக்கு பெயர் போன நாடு பெல்ஜியம். 1947 ஆம் ஆண்டு, இந்தியாவுடன் இணைந்து வர்த்தகம் செய்வதற்கு முதல் முதலாக தூதுவரை அனுப்பிய நாடு பெல்ஜியம். அந்த நிகழ்வின் 70 ஆம் ஆண்டு கொண்டாட்டம் அடுத்த ஆண்டு நடைபெறுகிறது. அதுமட்டுமின்றி, பெல்ஜியம் நாட்டில் படமாக்கப்பட்ட முதல் இந்திய திரைப்படம், அமீர் கான் நடித்த ‘பி கே’.

I must say that Jiiva sir has lived in his character. He is evolving as one of the most successful stars in Tamil Film Industry, because of his dedication level. Likewise Kajal Agarwal has added new colours to our KAVALAI VENDAM. Her commitment and passion towards the profession is only landing her in projects with Ajith sir and Vijay sir.
Music is the perfect curtain raiser for a youthful film. In that case Music Director Leon James has come out with some fabulous melodies that will go a long way in according a great reception to the film. I can comfortably say that the visuals of our KAVALAI VENDAM will make the Audience to fall in Love, and the creator for those colourful visuals is our Cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam. His visual sense Match the music of leon, youthful exuberance of the lead pair Jiiva and Kajal.
