எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் ‘புதினங்களும் திரைப்படங்களும்’ கருத்தரங்கம்
எஸ்.ஆர்.எம். அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் தமிழ்த்துறையானது “புதினங்களும் திரைப்படங்களும்” என்னும் தலைப்பில் ஒருநாள் கருத்தரங்கினை தி.பொ. கணேசன் கலையரங்கச் சிற்றரங்கத்தில் 20/03/2018 அன்று ஒருங்கிணைத்தது.இக்கருத்தரங்கில் துறைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் பா. ஜெய்கணேஷ் வரவேற்புரை வழங்க அறிவியல் மற்றும் கலையியல் புலத்தின் இயக்குநர் முனைவர் இர. பாலசுப்பிரமணியன் முன்னிலை வகிக்க சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களாகத் திரைத்துறையைச் சேர்ந்த ரோகிணி அவர்கள், எழுத்தாளர் மற்றும் வசனகர்த்த பாஸ்கர் சக்தி அவர்கள், எழுத்தாளர் சல்மா அவர்கள் ஆகியோர் கலந்துகொண்டு தமது சிறப்புரைகளை வழங்கினர்.இத்தொடக்க விழாவில்முனைவர் சாந்தி சித்ரா எழுதி முனைவர் பா. ஜெய்கணேஷ் மொழிபெயர்த்த கலியுகக் கிழவியும் ஓநாய்க் குட்டிகளும் என்னும் நாவலும், தமிழ்த்துறையின் கவிமாலை இதழும் வெளியிடப்பட்டன.
நிறைவுவிழாவில் அறிவியல் மற்றும் கலையியல் புலத்தின் இயக்குநர்முனைவர் ஜெ. ஜோதிகுமார் முன்னிலை வகிக்க, அருவி திரைப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர் அருண்பிரபு புருஷோத்தமன்,பேராசிரியர் சி. கார்த்திகேயன் ஆகியோர் கலந்துகொண்டு தமது சிறப்புரைகளை வழங்கினர்.
இலக்கியத்திற்கும் திரைப்படங்களுக்கும் உள்ள தொடர்பினையும் குறிப்பாகப் புதினங்களிலிருந்து திரைப்படமாக்கப்பட்ட படங்கள் குறித்தும் இக்கருத்தரங்கில் விரிவாக விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது. மாணவர்கள் கலந்துரையாடலுடன் கருத்தரங்கு இனிதே நிறைவுபெற்றது.
SRM IST, Tamil Department organized a one-day seminar on Novels and Films
The Tamil Department of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur organized a one-day seminar on Novels and Films on 20th March 2018. The Seminar began with the welcome address by Dr B Jaiganesh, the Head of the Department of Tamil ensued by the presidential address by the Director of The Faculty of Science and Humanities Dr R Balasubramanian. The chief guests of the seminar Actress Rohini, Writer Bhaskar Shakthi, Writer Salma delivered their precedential address. In the Inaugural Function of the seminar the novel Kaliyugak Kizhaviyum Onaai Kuttygalum written by Dr Shantichitra and translated by Dr B Jaiganesh was launched and released. The Annual Journal Kavimaali was also released in the event.
The valedictory function of the seminar was presided over by Dr J Jothikumar, the Dean, Faculty of Science and Humanities. Aruvi Film Director Mr Arun Prabhu Purushothaman and Actor and Academician Prof C Karthikeyan delivered their special address in the valedictory function.
Films made from novels and the association and alienation between the films made on the novels and the novels themselves were the aspects which were critically analyzed and discussed in the seminar.
