Balloon – Actor Jai

In Tinsel world ,where self marketing has always been the need of the hour, Only few actors choose their work to do the talking part. One such actor is Jai who has been having a very impressive journey as an actor. His upcoming movie ‘Balloon’ is all set for a grand release on December 29th. ‘Balloon’ is directed by Sinish, produced by ‘70mm Entertainment’ and released all over Tamilnadu by ‘Auraa Cinemas’. Jai plays a dual role in the movie where Anjali and Janani Iyer are paired opposite them.

Talking about ‘Balloon’, Jai says, “ ‘Balloon’ is my first horror. Though I have been approached for a lot of horror films before, none impressed me like ‘Balloon’. Sinish’s narration and the whole story was so fresh and attractive. I play an assistant director in the present and a Balloon seller in the flashback portions. My clown character will be the highlight of the movie and I am very excited to see the audience response for it. I must admit Yuvan’s music has elevated the movie to the next level. His work is just brilliant !!! ‘Balloon’ is much more than a spine chilling horror movie, it has a well laced romance and comedy also. I am sure ‘Balloon’ is going to be a very important film in my career. I am very excited about December 29th “.

சுய விளம்பரங்கள் அவசியம் என கருதப்படும் சினிமாத்துறையில் ஒரு சில நடிகர்களே தாங்கள் பேசுவதை விட தங்கள் படங்கள் பேசுவதையே விரும்புவார்கள். அப்படியான ஒரு நடிகர் தான் ஜெய். அவரது அடுத்த படமான ‘பலூன்’ படம் வரும் டிசம்பர் 29 ஆம் தேதி பிரம்மாண்டமாக ரிலீஸாகவுள்ளது. இப்படத்தை சினீஷ் இயக்க, ’70mm Entertainment’ நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ளது. ‘பலூன்’ படத்தை ”Auraa Cinemas’ தமிழகமெங்கும் ரிலீஸ் செய்யவுள்ளது. இப்படத்தில் இரட்டை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கும் ஜெய்க்கு அஞ்சலி மற்றும் ஜனனி ஐயர் ஆகியோர் ஜோடியாக நடித்துள்ளனர்.

‘பலூன்’ படம் குறித்து ஜெய் பேசுகையில் , ”’பலூன்’ தான் எனது முதல் திகில் படம். இதற்கு முன்பு நிறைய திகில் படங்களில் நடிக்க எனக்கு வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. ஆனால் அவை சுவாரஸ்யமானதாக இல்லாததால் மறுத்துவிட்டேன். இந்த ‘பலூன்’ பட கதையை இயக்குனர் சினிஷ் என்னிடம் சொன்னபொழுது அது என்னை மிகவும் ஈர்த்தது. ஒரு கதாபாத்திரத்தில் அசிஸ்டன்ட் இயக்குனராகவும் , பிளாஷ்பேக் பகுதியில் பலூன் விற்கும் நபராகவும் நடித்துள்ளேன். இப்படத்தில் எனது கிளவுன் வேடம் நிச்சயம் ரசிக்கப்படும் என நம்புகிறேன். இந்த படத்தை யுவனின் இசை அடுத்த தளத்திற்கு கொண்டுபோயுள்ளது என்பதே உண்மை. இது ஒரு திகில் படமாக மட்டும் இல்லாமல் , காதல் , காமெடி என அணைத்து அம்சங்களும் அழகான கலவையில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்படம் எனது சினிமா வாழ்வில் ஒரு முக்கியமான படமாக நிச்சயம் இருக்கும். டிசம்பர் 29 ஆம் தேதியை எதிர்நோக்கியுள்ளேன் ”.
