“என்னை பொறுத்தவரை நேரம் தான் இந்த உலகத்தில் எல்லாமுமாக இருக்கின்றது. வருகின்ற நவம்பர் 25 ஆம் தேதி, திரையுலகின் மூத்த நபர் அபிராமி ராமநாதன் அவர்கள் துபாயில் ‘நட்சத்திர கலை விழா’ என்னும் விமர்சையான கலை நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்த இருக்கிறார்…. ஒட்டுமொத்த துபாயும் அன்றிரவு நட்சத்திரங்களின் வருகையால் ‘விழித்திரு’ க்கும் …. அப்படி ஒரு பிரமாண்டமான நிகழ்ச்சியில் எங்களின் ‘விழித்திரு பாடலை வெளியிட வேண்டும் என்று தான் நான் பல நாட்கள் யோசித்து கொண்டிருந்தேன். தற்போது அந்த வாய்ப்பு எனக்கு கிடைத்திருப்பது, எனக்கு கிடைத்த வரம். வருகின்ற புத்தாண்டு இரவில் அனைவராலும் கொண்டாடப்படும் பாடலாக எங்களின் ‘STAY AWAKE’ இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது தான் எங்களின் நோக்கம்….அதற்கு எங்களுக்கு கிடைத்த சரியான மேடை, இந்த ‘நட்சத்திர கலை விழா’ …. இதன் மூலம் கிருஷ்ணா, விதார்த், வெங்கட் பிரபு மற்றும் தன்ஷிகா முன்னணி கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்திருக்கும் எங்களின் விழித்திரு திரைப்படம், எல்லாத் தரப்பு ரசிகர்களிடமும் பெரியளவில் போய் சேரும். இந்த ஆண்டு இறுதியில் நாங்கள் ‘விழித்திரு’ படத்தை வெளியிட முடிவு செய்திருக்கிறோம்…..தரமான கதையம்சம் கொண்ட திரைப்படங்களை ‘விழித்திரு’ ந்து வரவேற்பது தான் ரசிகர்களின் கடமை….” என்று நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூறுகிறார் தயாரிப்பாளர் – இயக்குநர் மீரா கதிரவன்.
